Our Team

August obtained her BA in Administrative Studies (Marketing & Human Resource Management) at the University of Winnipeg in Canada. After becoming a mother, August pursued professional studies in Early Children Education and obtained Playgroup Tutor and Montessori Teaching Skills certificates. This training equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach and to inspire children from an early age and onwards. August appreciates and embraces the power of picture books, and has researched on how picture books can be combined with visual art and music to inspire young children to foster a love of reading in a fun way.

August is devoted to helping parents and children navigate the schooling system and providing expert consultant opinion on the interview and examination process for top Hong Kong primary schools.  August has extensive experience in the commercial sector, ranging from marketing to project management, working for high end luxury groups such as the Richemont Group. Her passion in education had emerged during the primary school admissions process for her own son, during which she volunteered to assist peer groups in implementing systematic exercises that have successfully helped peers in reaching their targeted goals and schools. Most importantly, she has learned to tie-in a positive sentiment for both parents and their children during the challenging application process, which is a key driver in achieving their goals.

August likes outdoor activities and is always eager to explore the wilderness as a way of immersing herself and her son in the beauty of nature.  Hiking, scuba diving and camping are her favorite hobbies. She believes nature is the best classroom in which to nurture children.

At ARCH, August works as a School Admissions Consultant with a focus on admission to top Hong Kong primary schools.
