Our Team

Hugo studied Mathematics at Christ’s College, University of Cambridge, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree with First Honours and a Master’s degree with Distinction.  He was one of just two students in his year to receive an unconditional offer with a scholarship.  

From a young age, Hugo has been a passionate maths enthusiast.   He would read up on extra-curricular subjects, and share his discoveries with classmates. During high school and university, Hugo regularly hosted engaging lectures and personalized tutoring sessions.  His specialty was one-on-one tuition focused on extra-curricular and Olympiad maths as well as sciences.   After graduating, Hugo worked as a quantitative trader.  During which he kept the tutoring spirit alive, helping aspiring mathematicians on choosing UK universities.   In his work, Hugo also mentored extensively in the summer internship program where 20+ students across the world get together for a 2 month program to learn about quantitative trading.  Hugo’s journey blends his expertise in finance with a commitment to nurture the next generation of maths enthusiasts.

Here at ARCH, Hugo is an instructor focused on high-level Mathematics and Sciences.

Hugo was a member of the College Rowing Team at university.  Since graduating, he has embraced a love for the outdoors, indulging in hiking, camping and sailing adventures.  He is also a powerlifting enthusiast where he pushes his limit in the gym.  Hugo also earned a distinction in his piano diploma showing his musical talent.
