Our Team

Rachel is a recent graduate with a master’s in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, an Ivy League institution in the state of New York. She received a merit scholarship and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. In 2022, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the #1 public university in the United States. She received multiple scholarships and was a part of Dean’s Honors List with a GPA of 3.9. 

Rachel brings extensive teaching experience, working with students of diverse age groups and educational backgrounds. This has allowed her to develop expertise in the goals and expectations of core subjects like English and Psychology across various curricula. Born and raised in the PYP, MYP, and International Baccalaureate (IB) education system, Rachel is also skilled in guiding students through Extended Essays, Theory of Knowledge, and IB-related projects. As a passionate and empathetic educator, Rachel fosters confidence and self-efficacy in her students through personalized teaching and mentorship. She takes the time to understand each student’s unique challenges and aspirations, using tailored feedback, goal setting, and skill-building exercises to help them excel academically. She is deeply committed to unlocking students’ full potential, empowering them to become their best selves—not only as learners but also as competitive and successful university applicants.

At ARCH, Rachel is an academic instructor focusing on the subjects of English and Psychology across multiple education systems. 

Rachel enjoys rock climbing, challenging hiking trails, and relaxing beach days. She also enjoys baking and exploring new cafes and restaurants around the city.
