Our Team

Miuccia attended the University of Hong Kong, majoring in English Studies and minoring in Comparative Literature. During her study at HKU and her exchange to Durham University, she focused on the study of literary and critical theory, examining the scholarly approaches to reading a work of literature. She also briefly took up the study of Latin and Sanskrit, curious about how modern culture and literature might interact with classical languages. Her next conquest is to pick up ancient Greek to try and parse the Greek tragedies.

Whether it is guiding university students through writing their dissertations or teaching kindergarteners to write their first English word, Miuccia’s teaching style is heavily feedback-based and student-centred. This means that in her lessons, she is always actively communicating her students to check their understanding, to reinforce learnt concepts and, most importantly, to boost student participation and motivation. Specializing in writing, Miuccia has developed and taught English writing programs for students of all levels, from primary to university students. Having worked as an award-winning writing consultant at the University of Hong Kong and taught exam prep courses for English writing, Miuccia’s wide range of experience in teaching students of all ages also means that she is skilled in handling diverse learning needs at any level. 

With a rich background in both literature and teaching, she believes the key to success for all students, especially in the literary field, is to be able to in deliver your arguments in a critical and meaningful manner. 

At ARCH Education, Miuccia brings together her love for literature and writing to prepare her students for success, aiming to hone the analytical and writing skills of any and every student who steps into her classroom.

In her free time, Miuccia loves doing anything that offers a good story, from watching Studio Ghibli films to listening to Taylor Swift’s new album. Secretly, she writes poetry and novels in hopes to one day become a published writer.
